Publication Fee

As an open-access journal, the Shahroud Journal of Medical Sciences is committed to providing free and immediate access to scholarly research for the global scientific community. To cover the costs associated with the publication process—including peer review management, professional copyediting, typesetting, and long-term archiving—the journal levies an Article Processing Charge (APC).

Payment Timing

Please note that there are no submission fees. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been peer-reviewed and officially accepted for publication. The payment must be settled prior to the final publication of the article.

Fee Structure

Editorial Team Members:

        10,000,000 IRR

The applicable publication fee is determined based on the affiliation of the corresponding author, as outlined below:

  • Authors affiliated with Shahroud University of Medical Sciences:

15,000,000 IRR

  • Authors from other Iranian Universities and Institutions:

30,000,000 IRR

  • International Authors:

200 USD

Payment Instructions

Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the corresponding author will receive an official invoice.

Authors paying via the Iranian banking system are requested to use the following account details:

Submission of Payment Receipt (Revised Process)

After completing the transaction, the payment receipt/slip must be uploaded to the submission system. This will happen during the Copyediting stage:

  1. Once the final version of the article is ready and approved by you in the Copyediting phase, a new Discussion titled “Acceptance of Your Manuscript and Publication Fee Information” will be created for your manuscript.
  2. Click on the newly created Discussion.
  3. In the opened window, click the “Add Message” button.
  4. Enter "Paid" in the dialog box.
  5. Send the payment slip as an email attachment to the journal expert at the following email address: monirehbastami@gmail.com
  6. Email Subject: Payment - Manuscript ID
  7. * Please note that under no circumstance should the payment receipt be uploaded through the submission system.
